P5 English

In this focused 2-hour daily program, students will dive deep into a different component of the paper each session. Through detailed analysis and targeted strategies, they’ll uncover practical techniques to elevate their performance and gain a deeper understanding of what examiners are truly looking for.

  • Grammar and Synthesis

    • Through guided exercises and personalised feedback, our experienced teachers will focus on word categorisation and the correct use of tenses to convey precise meaning to help students gain a clear understanding of how different words and phrases function in writing. By mastering these fundamentals, your child will learn how to use language more effectively

  • Cloze

    • Success in cloze passages depends on more than just reading—it requires sharp attention to detail and the ability to read between the lines. In this course, students will learn to identify subtle clues within the text and apply proven techniques to interpret information accurately. With focused strategies and practice, your child will develop critical reading skills that not only boost their comprehension but also help them score better.

  •  Comprehension

    • Tackle complex texts with confidence. This course will equip students with essential summary skills to break down challenging passages and grasp key ideas more easily. They will also be introduced to a range of question types commonly found in the examinations, along with smart strategies to answer them accurately and efficiently.With these tools, students will be able to approach comprehension tasks with clarity, purpose, and a higher chance of success.

  • Creative Writing 

    • Good stories don’t happen by chance—they’re built on a solid plan. In this course, students will learn how to effectively plan and develop their compositions using a structured writing framework. Through guided exercises, they’ll practise crafting clear, engaging narratives that will meet all task requirements. Our approach ensures your child doesn't miss key components, helping them write with greater confidence, coherence, and impact.

P5 Maths

Many students often struggle with problem sums and may not even know how to begin solving the question. Our P5 Preparatory Course is designed specifically to address this challenge through the structured and proven H.I.T. Model.

  • Students will first be guided to Highlight key information from the question, Identify the relevant mathematical concepts, and Think of the appropriate first step to approach the problem. These essential skills form the foundation for confident and effective problem-solving.

  • Our experienced educators will teach these concepts in a clear, step-by-step manner, ensuring that students grasp not only the strategies but also the reasoning behind each approach. This allows for deeper understanding and long-term retention.

  • In addition to concept mastery, we will also focus on common mistakes made by students, helping them to recognise and avoid these pitfalls.

  • To round off the course, students will be equipped with exam skills and answering techniques that are crucial for performing under exam conditions—enabling them to tackle problem sums with clarity and confidence.

P5 Science

During this 5-day preparatory course for Primary 5 students, they will be revising P3, P4, and P5 topics that they might have forgotten or be confused about. This is a chance for P5 students to clarify their misconceptions in class. Additionally, we will be going through correct and systematic thought processes for open-ended questions, and also equip students with useful answering techniques.

 

  • Recap P3/P4/PS topics systematically and clarify all misconceptions.

  • Use clear and easy diagrams to memorise important concepts.

  • Practise carefully selected exam questions using systematic thought processes and useful answering techniques.

  • Complete a daily topical test; this is a chance to correct common mistakes made and re-learn those concepts again.
