5 days of English, 2 hours each

The Primary 5 English syllabus may seem challenging, but with our guided, step-by-step approach, your child will be able to grasp the different concepts with clarity in no time. 5 days of Maths, 2 hours each

This 5-day programme (10 hours total) introduces students to key P5 Maths topics and higher-order problem-solving skills, giving them the confidence and readiness to excel when school reopens.

As students transition from Lower to Upper Block, the syllabus becomes more demanding — requiring stronger analytical skills, deeper understanding of concepts, and greater accuracy in applying strategies. This course bridges that gap by helping students grasp new P5 concepts early in a structured and supportive environment.

Throughout the course, students will:

Learn new Upper Block concepts ahead of school
Practise advanced problem-solving strategies used in P5
Strengthen logical reasoning and accuracy
Build confidence to tackle non-routine questions independently

Topics & Concepts Covered:

Whole Numbers: Advanced problem sums involving Grouping and Stacking
Decimals: Application in Maximum/Minimum and Assumption questions
Fractions: Harmonising denominators, Equal Numerator technique, and Remainder Theorem
Ratio: Before–After, Internal Transfer, and Repeated Identity problems
Percentage: Before–After concept with One Unchanged situations

By the end of the course, students will be familiar with major P5 topics and ready to take on the new year with greater confidence and a strong mathematical foundation.

5 days of Science, 2 hours each

The P5 Science Bridging Course is designed as a revision checklist to help students use their holiday time wisely for enjoyable, stress-free, and effective learning.

This course is beneficial for P4 students who struggle to recall key Lower Block Science concepts and keywords. A weak foundation often causes students to falter in P5 when the syllabus becomes significantly tougher, demanding more content mastery and application of process skills. Students must not only retain what they've learned since P3 but also absorb new Upper Block content, like Cycles and Systems.

Over 10 hours spread across 5 days, this course will help students:

Recap and reinforce crucial Lower Block Science concepts.
Clarify any existing misconceptions in class.
Get a head start by introducing foundational P5 Upper Block concepts, giving them an idea of the increased expectations.

The primary focus during these 10 hours is on content revision, ensuring a smooth and confident transition to the P5 Science syllabus.
