The Lower Secondary English Mock Examination gives students the chance to revise the skills they have learnt and consolidate their learning. For Secondary 1 students, this will be their first experience sitting for a complete examination paper, with all components, under actual examination conditions. Through this course, they will gain effective examination strategies to perform at their best when it matters most.
The mock examination will simulate the real exam environment, helping students build the stamina and confidence needed to perform under timed conditions and pressure. It will allow them to prepare themselves for the demands and challenges that may arise in the actual examinations.
Following the mock examination, students will participate in guided review sessions where teachers will discuss the various components, analyse common errors, and provide targeted feedback. This will help students rectify their mistakes, bridge learning gaps, and enhance their concepts so they can avoid repeating the same mistakes in future assessments.

Preparing for the end-of-year exams can be challenging, especially as students need to revise all the topics they have learnt throughout the year.
Our mock paper session during the September holidays gives students a chance to experience a full exam under timed conditions, helping them practise time management, become familiar with the exam format, and identify the topics they may need to spend more time revising.
After the mock paper, every question will be reviewed in detail with the teacher. Rather than simply checking the answers, the teacher will help students understand the concepts behind each question, explain common mistakes, and guide them on how to answer using the appropriate scientific keywords and techniques.
The aim is for students to have a clearer understanding of the topics, greater confidence, and a better idea of how to prepare for their school examinations.
